Immigration for Employers 101

With the shortage in local labour supply, many employers are eagerly awaiting the opening of our borders.  Having a sound understanding of what employing migrant workers entails and a business strategy for this is ever more important with the move to compulsory employer accreditation with Immigration NZ starting later this year.

  • The current immigration landscape
    • Visa categories 101
    • Impact of COVID-19
    • Processing timeframes
  • Preparing for upcoming changes: compulsory Employer Accreditation and a new work visa category
    • What it takes to become accredited, and the type of accreditation you will need
    • Overview of the new work visa category
    • How these changes will affect your business
  • How to support visa applications and avoid common pitfalls
