Investigations

  • Conducting independent investigations, including to establish the facts where a complaint is made, or where conflicting accounts of an incident are given. Using an independent investigator ensures:
  • Sufficient resourcing of the investigation;
  • Fairness to all parties, including complainants, witnesses, and the person/s complained about;
  • Speedy completion of the investigation
  • Strict confidentiality; and
  • Reliable findings which can be used to take further action, including disciplinary action.
  • Advice for employers on investigation processes to be completed in house.
